Designer Dogs And Their Celebrity Owners

Celebrity dog owners are known for going to extremes when it comes to spoiling their pets.

From red carpet appearances to paparazzi sightings in restaurants and resorts, these pampered pooches are becoming more famous than their celebrity owners.

Some of these designer doggies even have Twitter accounts, Facebook fan pages and personal websites for their fans to follow.

Details like hairstyles, ensembles and travel schedules are stalked and mimicked with the same passion their human owners receive.

Designated dog chefs ensure these pups are eating a nutritious diet, pet therapists meet weekly to work out issues, dog spas pamper and groom, and even dog concierges are in place to see to the pet’s every need while their owners work.

Celebrities have proved that no expense is spared when it comes to indulging their dogs.

“Celebrities have set the bar for pet indulgence,” says Jessica Clark, owner of Rockstar Puppy, an online pet boutique which specializes in special orders and requests for celebrities. “We are always on the lookout for the next big thing for our clients.”

Rockstar Puppy has earned its spot on the A-List with celebrities for its whimsical lines of designer dog clothing and accessories, motorcycle helmets for dogs and custom-designed furniture and dog houses.

Always adding new items, the online boutique continues to expand its eclectic collection.

Celebrities love the fun and quirky items available from the pet boutique.

Clark says that some clients contact her with special requests for items on a regular basis for their dogs or as gifts for their pet’s friends for birthdays and holidays. Others commission furniture pieces to be designed to match their home’s interior.

“We get excited when you challenge us to find a new item,” says Clark. “We have great relationships with designers who can create any article of clothing, any accessory, dog house or custom piece of furniture specifically designed for your pet.”

Clark says it is not uncommon to receive a request to create a custom-designed dog house exclusively for a client’s dog to enjoy.

Amenities such as electricity to power crystal chandeliers and air-conditioning are basic prerequisites before the dog house is professionally decorated by an interior designer with items such as dog beds, a dog armoire and family photos.

The designer pet boutique has even been requested by clients to create gift baskets filled with spa-quality dog grooming products fit for any human, organic dog treats, cute dog tags and other blinged out accessories, and designer outfits for dogs.

Clark says pet owners still like to spoil their pets the old-fashioned way, by spending time with them and showing them affection.

Even birthday cakes are requested by dog lovers to celebrate each year with their beloved best friends.

When researching items available to dogs, it is apparent that owners like for their pets to experience the same levels of luxury and comfort that they enjoy.

Rain boots protect your dog from the discomfort of walking through mud and rain, and your dog will never need to feel the grit of pavement under his feet again with fun items like Swarovski crystal-covered tennis shoes.

“Dog lovers definitely like the fun flashy items,” says Clark. “Our other collections are equally popular. We have celebrities who love to ride their motorcycles with their dogs, so we developed an entire line of biker apparel and accessories designed exclusively for dogs.”

Trademark items such as Rockstar Puppy’s famous line of Pup Rocker© motorcycle helmets can be custom decorated and come in several styles.

Doggles, a new product combination of sunglasses and goggles designed to fit dogs are another hot accessory favored by motorcycle-riding dog owners.

Items like motorcycle carriers enable you to take your dog along for weekend rides safely and comfortably.

“It’s fun to see the videos and photos celebrities send in of themselves with their dogs,” says Clark. “We love to see owners spending quality time with their pets and we will continue to search for products that add enjoyment for dogs and their owners.”
